Load Drifting and Loads on Chain Falls and Hardware

This video illustrates the effect the horizontal sling angle and load multiplier has on rigging gear during load drifting applications. Load drifting is similar to lifting with a two leg rigging triangle except the rigging is inverted. This video clearly shows that the tension in the sling legs and chain falls varies greatly as the load is raised.
