Crosby Bolt Type Shackle Basics

This video illustrates the main features of a four piece shackle which is commonly referred to as the bolt type shackle. A bolt type shackle consists of four components, the shackle bow, bolt, nut and cotter pin. Bolt Type shackles can be used in applications where screw pin shackles are currently being used and are recommended for long term permanent installations.
