The Choker Hitch: Chain Slings

The video illustrates the main features of a chain choker hitch. When one leg of the sling connects back to itself it is called a choker hitch. A chain choker hitch has a capacity of  approximately 80 percent of the straight leg vertical hitch, if the angle of choke is at least 120 degrees.
