The Choker Hitch: Wire Rope Slings

The video illustrates the main features of a wire rope choker hitch. When one leg of the sling connects back to itself it is called a choker hitch. A wire rope choker hitch has a capacity of  approximately 75 percent of the straight leg vertical hitch, if the angle of choke is at least 120 degrees.
